EVYD Technology exhibits in Doha alongside the official launch of the Qatar Precision Health Institute by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser
Doha, Qatar, 30 April 2024 – EVYD Technology President, Rick Liang and Senior Manager, Chris Xin Wen were joined by our partners from our joint AI lab with Singapore’s A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research Dr. Rick Goh and Dr. Liu Yong, in Doha for the official launch of the Qatar Precision Health Institute, an umbrella institute that brings together existing strengths in the field of health sciences and genomics within Qatar Biobank and Qatar Genome Programme to help accelerate the country’s adoption of personalized healthcare. The occasion was graced by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation.
Alongside the launch, an exhibition was held to put a spotlight on the latest healthcare innovation and technology from companies including EVYD Technology, Illumina, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Oxford Nanopore Technologies among others.
We were proud to share our flagship solution, EVYDENCE, a state-of-the-art data operating platform that leverages the power of artificial intelligence and big data to transform disparate healthcare data into actionable medical intelligence for insights-driven decision making, with leading companies, thought leaders and esteemed professionals from the healthcare industry who attended the event.
Together with A*STAR – Agency for Science, Technology and Research, we also showcased a non-invasive, cost-effective and scalable community screening solution which harnesses the power of AI to predict and prevent eye diseases, an area of growing concern against the backdrop of a globally aging population.
During our time at the exhibition, we had the honor of having Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Her Excellency Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari Minister of Public Health visit our booth.
